Charlie Bean is an American animator who directed series 1 and supervised the storyboards for Robotboy. He is best known for his work on Tron: Uprising as a director and executive producer, and also worked as a storyboard artist on Dexter's Laboratory, Samurai Jack, The Powerpuff Girls and Cow and Chicken as well as being a layout artist on The Ren and Stimpy Show, Animaniacs and Batman: The Animated Series. He co-created two pilots for Cartoon Network: Buy One, Get One Free with Don Shank & Carey Yost, and IMP Inc. with Chris Reccardi.
Bean also directed the Warner Bros. animated feature The LEGO Ninjago Movie, an adaptation of LEGO's original franchise, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitsu.
