Synopsis[]
Plot[]
One night, Tommy is painting the finishing touches of Robotboy’s new bed. Robotboy helps out and finishes quickly. While they discuss about the bed, Donnie comes in with a sea monster mask and proceeds to scare the two and Robotboy attacks him.
Before he can find out, Robotboy starts acting like an ordinary robot toy. Donnie is bewildered and Tommy tells him to calm down. Donnie returns to sanity and intimidates Tommy to not let Robotboy near him as he leaves. The duo laugh; succeeding in fooling Donnie. Little did they know, Donnie overheard them and vows to find out what’s up with Robotboy.
The next morning at breakfast, Donnie attempts to fake being sick so he wouldn’t go to school. He does this by choking. Holding in hot tea with a thermometer and spraying it out with his nose into Dwight’s cup, much to his impression. Deb falls for it and tells him he’s staying home. Tommy sighs and heads to his room to ask Robotboy how his sleep was. Robotboy just wants to relax and Tommy leaves him to it.
Donnie makes his way to the room and confronts Ro, but copies everything Donnie says and bites his nose. Out of rage, he proceeds to destroy Tommy’s room and finds Robotboy’s bed and mocks it and prepares to destroy it, but before he can and before Robotboy can retaliate, Deb returns home from grocery shopping and comes upstairs. Donnie makes a mad dash back to his bed. Deb sees him and falls for his ill gimmick again. She rubs topical ointment and feeds him fish oil, much to Donnie’s dismay. He holds the oil in his mouth and breathes deep due to the ointment.
When Deb leaves, Donnie throws up and rushes to Tommy’s room only to slip and slide on the spilled medicine Robotboy set up while spying on Donnie and Deb. He falls down the stairs and after some groaning, he rushes back to his room only to find it trashed. Robotboy sits in the middle of it and starts acting like a toy again. Flabbergasted and angry, Donnie grabs Robotboy and remembers all the times he got foiled by him. He goes to the garage and gets a chainsaw, but Robotboy drops a table on him.
That night, Donnie has a nightmare about the ointment, fish oil and Robotboy. The next morning, Deb finds Donnie really became sick and tells Tommy, who was cleaning his room that she was taking him to the doctor. Tommy manages to scare Donnie, causing him to slip and slide down the hall and fall down the stairs out the door again in a panic. With Deb giving chase. Tommy and Robotboy fist bump smugly watching them leave.
