Jebediah Bachman-Turner is Gus's old and strict and morally upright father and a minor character in the animated TV show Robotboy. Unlike Gus, he and his wife, Hester, are Amish, and forbid things such as technology, which probably resulted in Gus's obsession to video games and other stuff. When Gus is around them, he acts well behaved and respectful, unlike his true, mischievous self.

- Despite being minor characters, Jebediah and Hester got a character profile in the Robotboy - Special Edition CD-ROM.
- Many people are afraid of Jebediah and Hester because of their way of living and how they talk. Even Dr. Kamikazi refused to steal Robotboy (character) when Robotboy was staying at Gus's house. The only person who wasn't afraid of them and came to their house was Vance Cosgrove.
- He is really severe towards his son since Jebediah does this like waking Gus up by throwing a bucket of water at him to wake him up and is very unsensitive towards his son's massive weight loss in Tummy Trouble and even said to his wife "we can always make more children" should something happen to Gus in order to calm her down.
