Trivia[]
- This is Brainy Yak's (aka Brian Yak) debut episode and shows how his grudge with Moshimo began. This is also the first episode Dave shows up in.
- Donnie makes a cameo where he is seen paying Brian for test answers,
- It is implied Donnie also attends the same school as Tommy and his friends. He likely skips a lot, which is why we don't see him there at all and why he gets home before Tommy as well. It's also revealed that Donnie is in high school, so he's around 14-15 years old.
- This is the second and last episode to not have Robotboy and Tommy as main characters the first time was Tummy Trouble.
- Kurt and Stu make a cameo teasing Brian, calling him "Bubble-Brain".
- Brian is very close to his mother, Moonglow, as seen when he sadly watches her sleep before he runs away.
- It is shown Moshimo is able to lift heavy objects, seen when he's lifting a barbel before Brian texted him.
- The website in which Brian places his resume is called "Badspace", a possible reference to MySpace.
- General Yakitori and Felonious Hexx can be seen off to the side next to Brian's profile.
- Dave might be another genetic experiment of Moshimo's.
- Robotboy repeats a line he said in "Six-Million Euro Man", where he told Affenkugel, "No hurt Tommy!". Only in this episode he says, "No hurt Moshimo!".
- This is the first and only time Robotboy deactivates himself with the watch.
- The line of people for Brian's game booth includes:
- The blonde lady with the headband who is later seen in "C.H.O.P" and "Rats!".
- The large man with the green shirt who was first seen in "Robot Love" (with a blue shirt) and then later seen in "The Curse of Truckenstein" (with another green shirt) and "Knockoffs" (with a purple shirt).
- Ambassador Van der Schnitzel from "The Manchurian Robot".
- The short man from "Soothsayer".
- The woman with the tiny dog from "Dog-Ra".
- Tommy's math/history teacher, who supposedly had black hair back then.
- The hair style Moshimo has during the flashbacks resembles Tetsuo Shima's from the manga series and anime film AKIRA and Vegeta's from the Dragon Ball series. He also wears a red scarf, which could seen as similar to Tetsuo's red cape. Given Moshimo's first name is Akira, this may have been done on purpose.
