- The last appearance of The Doctor in the entire series. Also the only appearance of Walter the Tapeworm.
- Tommy is completely oblivious or doesn't listen to Gus when Gus talks with Walter and mentions that Lola has a crush on Tommy, causing Lola to blush in embarrassment.
- This is the first and only episode to see Gus skinny.
- This is also the second time in which Gus mentions the boyfriend/girlfriend relationship between Tommy and Lola. The first was in Constantine Rising and the third would be in the Valentine’s Day episode.

In other languages[]
Int. Language | Int. Title | Translation |
---|---|---|
Dutch | Lol met een lintworm* | Fun with a tapeworm |
French | Gastroboy | The guest |
German | Bauch-Probleme | Abdominal problems |
Spanish | El problema de Tommy | Tommy's Problem** |
Polish | Tasiemiec | Tapeworm |
*In Dutch LOL means Fun. It's an actual word and should not be confused with L.O.L. (Laughing Out Loud)
** It is very strange that the Spanish dub of the episode is called Tommy's Problem. Due to the fact that Tommy doesn't have any big problems in this episode and doesn't have a big part in the episode. The Spanish dubbing studio has probably translated the word Tummy to Tommy by mistake.
